"RIGHT ON TIME"

Considered to be one of the Best Songwriters on the West Coast today. This is Hosford's third album, and his first on Shop Records. His first two albums (below)on Shelter Records featured Leon Russell and George Harrison, and to this day still receive praises from song critics.(SR048)

"AKA LORENZO"

Hosford was a fixture in the hippie country scene in Santa Cruz in the mid 1970's and is still found playing the dives of that area. He's one of the great alterna-country MIAs, and the songs any of his albums just scream out for a single-CD reissue. The "AKA Lorenzo" album, in particular, is packed with great tunes, including "Taking Applications," "Kings and Queens" and "Wimmin's Got Me Swimmin" , as well as some great performances by Leon Russell, and his then excellent back up band Fly By Night.
